    NETWORK-Lipolysis Canada founded

Workshop marks the starting signal for the NETWORK’s formation

A small group of highly committed medical practitioners met on Saturday, 17 November, in Burlington (ON) for a one-day workshop in injection lipolysis or lipodissolve therapy. Under the direction of the world’s leading specialist, Dr. Franz Hasengschwandtner, Austria, Director of the Scientific and Advisory Board of the NETWORK-Lipolysis, the doctors were given detailed theoretical and practical training in the administration of injection lipolysis in compliance with the NETWORK protocol. .....

As a non-invasive therapy, there is a very heavy demand for this therapy both on the part of patients and also among physicians who are looking for qualified training. Injection lipolysis is one of the fastest-growing forms of therapy in all countries of the world. The therapy treats smallish, circumscribed areas of fat that prove unresponsive to reduction either by physical activity or change of diet. Injection lipolysis is now also a recognized as a supplement to liposuction, and for some patients indeed as an alternative to it. The members of the NETWORK-Lipolysis have been researching and developing the injection lipolysis therapy since 2004, and are able to document its effectiveness and success through numerous scientific articles and studies. The therapy involves the injection of phosphatidylcholine, a soya lecithin that can also be found in the human body, directly into the fatty tissue. As a natural product, it causes only minor side-effects such swelling, itching and sometimes discomfort similar to muscle ache, all of which disappear again after 2-3 days. After that, the natural metabolic degradation process of the burst fat cells begins, which takes 8 weeks. This results in a gradual, almost imperceptible reduction in the treated region. In general, patients require 2-3 treatments. Lipolysis is not intended as a means of weight reduction but as a body modulation therapy. The doctors in the NETWORK-Lipolysis are kept constantly informed of new developments and so are able to provide state-of-the-art treatment. Also for some special patients, there is always a specialist in the NETWORK available to provide NETWORK doctors assistance with word and deed at local level, with the result that also these patients can be helped. As simple as the injection lipolysis therapy may appear, it should only be carried out by properly trained physicians using the correct treatment protocol. There are a large number of other treatment protocols which have been derived and adapted from other therapies, but they produce only modest success or even no success at all. The NETWORK can now draw on the experience gained from more than 80,000 successful treatments performed throughout the world. More than 90% of the patients rate the results of this therapy, which is inexpensive when compared to liposuction, as very good – a result of the continuous further development of the internationally standardized NETWORK-Lipolysis treatment protocol, which is now being applied by over 1100 physicians in 59 countries around the world.
