Strong worldwide interest in the 1st International Lipolysis Convention in Salzburg

The Convention has every promise of meeting its international aspirations...

In addition to providing a practical introduction to the therapy, the event, which is aimed in particular at plastic and aesthetic surgeons and other specialties within the field of aesthetic medicine, is intended above all to address the scepticism that exists on the part of many doctors and also offer a comprehensive overview of the current status of research within the NETWORK. Participants have already registered from as far afield as Thailand, Korea, Canada, USA, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Netherlands, Austria and Germany, and this fact alone guarantees a world-spanning exchange of information and views on this new aesthetic therapy. A member of the European Committee on Quality Assurance and Medical Devices in Plastic Surgery (EQUAM) - an association of physicians which is particularly concerned with the ethical aspects of work in the aesthetic field - has also been invited.
