    Dercums disease

    Email from a member

    Hi Dr Franz (Hasengschwandtner)

Just an update on the man with Dercums disease. He had tiny very painful lipomas on his body which could only be felt but not visible. I injected PPC in about 6 of them.He has reacted brilliantly as the pain and discomfort is almost gone. He has numerous scars on his body from previous surgery to remove fatty tissues. He was going to have surgery before lipolysis but since then he has not needed surgery. He came back for his second treatment and was so pleased and grateful that the treatment has dramatically improved his lifestyle and he has not needed any analgesia.(he was on morphine as well). This makes our work so rewarding and worthwhile.

    Regards Ghaus Jilani
