    First Lipolysis study

The Chair of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Regensburg and the NETWORK-Lipolysis are cooperating in an attempt to unravel the secret of injection lipolysis

Analysis of the injected substances for effects and toxicity
Chair of Pharmaceutical Technology in the Faculty of Chemistry and Physics
    Project director: Dr. Thorsten Blunk

An innovative 3-D cell culture model has recently been developed in the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology in Regensburg that allows coherent fat tissue to be created in vitro. On the basis of conventional two-dimensional cell cultures and the newly developed 3-D model, it is planned to investigate all the substances and their combinations that have hitherto been used in lipolysis. In a second phase, other possible combinations and dosages may be developed. The study is being conducted in cooperation with the NETWORK-Lipolysis.
